THE HOUSE
The small Bed and Breakfast "Le Due Volpi" is
located near Molezzano (Vicchio)
nestled in the rolling hills of the middle
Mugello, a purely rural area miraculously left
unscathed to the cementification of the
valleys.
Just 35 km from Firenze, 25 from Fiesole, 15 from
Scarperia and 5 from Vicchio.
We consider ourselves at the center of an area
rich in culture and ancient traditions.
It is an ideal area for a quiet and relaxing
holiday, which also offers many possibilities
for sporting activities.
For example, one of the most renowned
European golf courses is just 15 km
away.
Housed in an old farmhouse, it has
comfortable and spacious rooms, simply
furnished, but very comfortable, all with
bathroom and with the possibility of a third
bed in two of the rooms.
The rooms are the Coppi, the Bartali, the
Gimondi and the Nencini.

in this beautiful farmhouse in the Mugello

Once reached the "forties" (... "anta" in
Italian), we both decided to "have a change" of
our lives and leave home and works in search for
a special place to put roots. After a long
search, we found this little corner of paradise
and we have been felt in love with it at first
sight.
We have the same love for nature, art and
cycling, especially for the great Italian
Champions of the past. Our rooms are a tribute
to their achievements and we would like to share
our passions with our guests.
Aldo will be pleased to show you our little
collection of vintage bicycles and to tell you
some interesting and curious stories about
"heroic" cycling, all of this accompanied with
good Italian food and a bottle of wine!
In our home we follow a "green" lifestyle
B&B equipped with solar panels, wood-fired
heating, and energy-saving light bulbs.
TRADITIONAL CUISINE
AT "DUE VOLPI"
An abundant breakfast buffet is served under
the porch in summer and in front of the large
fireplace in winter.
On request, it will be possible to organize
tastings of wines and typical Tuscan products,
snacks, picnics and so on.
at the B&B Le due Volpi, local and
organic products are served where
possible.
THE RELAXATION AREA

The garden and the swimming pool are at guests' disposal,who will find their favorite cornerto rest or take a bath in peace while respecting the tranquility of thesurrounding countryside or falling asleepunder the vine pergola with the cicadas in the background.
